Social Media in American Politics

In Times New Roman 12 pt. font with 1-inch margins, write a cogent analytical paper on your chosen topic. Any journals cited must be peer-reviewed, academic or scholarly publications. Be careful searching the library electronically to ensure that you filter out non-academic periodicals, such as Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Slate or the National Review. The latter are rarely used in substantive academic work except when a principal gives an interview.  (In that case, the periodical offers the principals stated perspective on the issue at hand.)

You may find it necessary to cite government reports such as Congressional Research Service Reports or other official sources (bills, hearings, or the Congressional record) available through the Government Publishing Office (www.govinfo.gov), the Library of Congress (www.Congress.gov) or the U.S. Supreme Court.
Also please consider using non-partisan sources such as www.pewresearch.org for a non-partisan look at opinions on social media.
