SMART goal setting

Your best friend, Tammy, decided to open her first pizza shop on Main Street near Langara campus. After operating the shop for a year, your friend realizes that they are struggling to manage it due to a lack of business management skills and experiences. Your friend knows that you are studying a business course at Langara and thinks that you may be able to offer some business advice. You agree to help. The first thing you try to find out is the business’ goal. Your friend replies, My business goal is to generate a profit.

You realize that the business goal is too broad. You suggest that the goal should be S.M.A.R.T goal. Based on the S.M.A.R.T goal setting framework, re-write the business goal.
