As you have learned, animal suffering has been the focus of many ethical viewpoints. Compare and contrast at least two differing viewpoints on animal suffering that we covered in class (Ch. 4 of the textbook).
Include the major authors/thinkers of each viewpoint you describe and include at least three points in your comparison.

Lets say a mining company has destroyed a natural landscape and the mining operation ends, leaving a devastated and disturbed land behind. The government has plans to regain the land but is concerned about cost, impact, and difficulty in fixing the land after mining. Out of the following three options, would you recommend the government complete reclamation, restoration, or rewilding of the site?
In your answer, include the reason why you chose your option and include at least one advantage and one disadvantage of that method.
