Each student will submit a paper about the work theyve done within the family groups. This assignment will have two parts:

Assessment and goal setting: report on and assess your groups experience assessing needs, stage of change, and setting goals. As a part of this section you should consider: A) the needs of different family members, B) where each member is at in the stages of change in different areas of their life, C) the needs of the family unit, D) factors impacting the family unit from inside and outside of the family, and E) which goals the family set.

Treatment and evaluation: report on your groups experience providing treatment to support the goals the family set. In this section you should consider: A) how was progress towards the goals measured, B) which goals were met and how, C) which goals were not met and why, D) factors for ongoing focus (aftercare), and E) how was the therapeutic relationship terminated.
