Scenario One: A need for a process group for domestic violence victims has been determined. Barbara has been asked to develop a counseling group to serve the needs of these individuals, to include attention to .

Question: What ethical considerations and advocacy strategies should Barbara consider as she develops a comprehensive plan for this group? What methods should Barbara use to ensure confidentiality and safety in the context of group counseling? If breaches of confidentiality and/or safety concerns occur, how should Barbara address them?

Scenario Two: David is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) working for a family counseling center. Steve, one of his adult clients, would like to begin couples counseling with his wife.
