reflection2

Module 2 topic reflections will build upon Module 1 topic reflections and upon each other to deepen personal reflections by integrating additional research. Students will first write an empirical/experiential reflection, next locate and summarize a related additional scholarly source, and finally synthesize their empirical and scholarly sources and their Module 1 and Module 2 empirical topics to further critically reflect on their intersectional sporting experiences.
Module 2 topic reflection 2, Researching our (racial, ethnic and/or religious) sporting lives

Article selection

For Module 2 topic reflection 2, students will be expected to locate a peer-reviewed resource (see the research tutorials posted below and attached sample article bibliographyPreview the document) to continue to critically reflect on their own lived experience with race, ethnicity and/or religion (see Module 2 topic reflection 1).
Students may want to consider the following questions when selecting an article:
What is the racial, ethnic, and/or religious sporting experience(s) you will be focusing on (see Module 2 topic reflection 2) and its connection to related concepts and consequences?
How would this article support a critical reflection on your selected experience?
e.g. The article is about  ______ (see the article abstract). This supports my experience of ______ (see above) through the author’s focus on ______ (key concepts or research findings that are similar, or in some way relatable, to what you’ll be writing about).
