Public Relation

Each student will submit a Public Relations Plan for a Ghanaian information institution (library, museum or archives) of their choice. It is highly encouraged that the PR plans include the RACE model as well as a situation, SWOT and/or organisation analysis, audience analysis, goals and objectives, messages and/or themes, strategies and tactics (including evaluation measures), budget, and timelines. PR plans should be no more than 2 pages in length. They should be typed using Times New Roman 12 font size, must be double spaced, and have one-inch margins. PR plans will be graded based on students’ demonstrated understanding and application of the RACE (research, actions, communication, evaluation) process and other theories and concepts discussed in class.
