You will select a drug from the list linked below, research that drug, and write a paper summarizing your findings. Your paper should include but not be limited to, the history of the drug, psychological and physiological effects, routes of administration, overdose levels, withdrawal symptoms, populations most likely to use the drug, and harmful effects from the use of the drug. You must use a minimum of three reputable sources in addition to the course text (.org, .gov, and .edu websites are preferred) and cite all sources. Your paper should be written in APA style and be a minimum of five (5) pages not including the cover page and references.

In addition to your paper, you will create a one-page drug overview handout in bullet format that you will share with your classmates. The overview should be a summary of the key points of your research. If done well, everyone in the class will end up with overview sheets for over 25 drugs. Include relevant citations and references on your overview handout and make sure your name is in the body of your handout.
