Persuasive Theories Assignment

Persuasive Theory Application

Students will write a 8 to 10 page paper exploringpersuasive theories1. Describe each theory identifying the strengths and weaknesses of each theory

     Inoculation Theory and Cognitive Dissonance

2.   Compare and contrast these theories

3.  Gives an example of how you have seen someone use these theories to persuade others.

4.  How will you use the theories in the future to persuade others?  Be specific.

 

This assignment should be at least 8 to 10 pages. This paper should demonstrate that you understand the theories and that you can critically apply them. If you quote the textbook, use quotation marks and proper documentation. Only use the text to explain the theories. Even if you paraphrase the textbook, please document it and give the page number. For further instructions on APA documentation and plagiarism, please consult the course material.  Be sure to include references. Remember the point of the assignment is to demonstrate that you have read and can apply the text material. Write the questions out completely and then answer them. Be sure you document the text material and only use the text.
