Persuasive essay (Rough draft and Final)

Instructions
Write a persuasive essay on one of the following topics that employ logos, ethos, and pathos (Links to an external site.) to make an argument for a particular side. The essay should also acknowledge the opposing viewpoint in order to present counter-arguments. Unlike the compare and contrast essay, the persuasive essay should employ vivid (yet still academic) language to help support the writers particular point of view. No outside sources may be used for this assignment.

Question:
What is a significant change that should be implemented in your particular place of employment and why? (First-person will be allowed for this prompt.)
Length:
Minimum 500 words for the first draft.
Final draft must be 5-6 pages.
Format:
If choosing the fourth prompt (what is a significant change that should be implemented in your particular place of employment and why?), then 1st person pronouns will be accepted.
All drafts of the essay (rough and final) should be formatted according to appropriate MLA guidelines. Refer to the handout on MLA General Format.
