For this assignment, focus on the following questions:

• Now that you have been immersed in the literature related to your proposed research topic for almost a year, what gap in the body of knowledge have you confirmed? The gap may be large.
• What is the tiny sliver of that gap that will actually be your research?
• Do you feel that you have sufficiently narrowed your topic?
• Why or why not?
• How do you plan to narrow it down?
