Look at the monologues and dialogues. In each case, the speaker lab are not addressing you personally. We are basically eavesdropping on them. Still, they can get a response from you. For the each of the three poems, explain how the author draws you in and keeps you listening even when the conversation is not about you. What is the interest factor?
