For this assignment, choose either a drama/play or a film and address the formal aspects of the film. Our class discussions of how plays and movies tell their stories in visual, auditory, and other conventional ways will help you. Some things to consider are the use of fonts for titles, use of symbolic colors, camera angles, dramatic use of light, etc. Your paper should address how these formal elements contribute to the story, assuming that what you see and hear are intentionally put there to convey not just narrative, but meaning as well. Must have 1 primary source of the film or drama of your choice and 2 other academic sources. Include supporting in text quotes from each source. Include work cited page. 700 word minimum.
