Discuss: John’s Letters

I dont have all the required reading material for this assignment if you can give me quality work to turn in I will give a 10 star rating!!! Thank you!!!

Often, people around us downplay the importance of believing in the redemptive story of Jesus (his incarnation, his redemption through death and resurrection, his ascension to heaven, his second coming). However, John argues for its centrality to true Christianity. In addition, John argues that true Christians evidence their faith in obedience and love. This assignment helps to solidify the importance of these topics.

Before you begin, take time to read through 1 John (Links to an external site.), 2 John (Links to an external site.), and 3 John (Links to an external site.). Consider making these books a part of your daily Bible reading, so that you are well acquainted with their contents as you complete this week’s activities.

Then, read the following passages from your textbooks:

Blomberg, From Pentecost to Patmos, chapter 14 (Links to an external site.)
Dictionary of the Later New Testament and Its Developments, “Truth (Links to an external site.)”
