Description of the sculpture (comment on the manner)

Sculpture : Jim Franklin, Billy Sims, 2007, bronze, life and a half in height, Heisman Park, east of the Oklahoma Memorial Stadium

In 500 words, describe it as completely as possible, and then, in another 500 words, comment on the manner (or manners) in which you see it serving as an expression of belief.(No adequate description or analysis of any work of art, but perhaps especially a work of sculpture, based solely on digital photographs is possible)
Be sure to define belief clearly but broadly, bearing in mind that in art as in life expressions of belief may take multiple forms. As meaning is neither transparent nor unitary, be alert to the possibility of tensions, ironies, even contradictions in the work youve chosen. However do no outside research of any kind.
Keep in mind that youre not being asked your opinion or what you believe; youre being asked to reason from visual evidence.
Waste no precious words in restating the assignment or in talking about yourself, nor is a conclusion that essentially restates your claim necessary.
But you should have a claim and state it clearly at the beginning of the second part of your essay.
Be sure to identify the work youre considering within your essay (e.g. Leonardo da Vincis Mona Lisa, painted in 1509, represents) give your essay itself a thoughtful title, the result of your close looking and analysis. Second Paper or name of chosen sculpture here are poor choices.
