The final critical analysis essay will focus on a strong thematic connection between Sylvia Plath`s Ariel, the play Medea by Euripides, and one of the films from the list (other than the film used for Essay 2).  Use detailed and specific support from the film, at least seven quoted passages from the restored Ariel collection, five from Medea, three from On Monsters, and at least two outside academic critical sources.
