Credible Sources

We live in a time that is often called the age of information. With so much data available online, it can become difficult to determine what information is accurate, and what is not.

Assignment Instructions

Identify a website that is NOT considered a reliable or credible website.
Identify bias, opinions without facts, and satire are examples of elements you will find in a non-credible source.
Share your selection and explain why it is not reliable as an academic source.
The idea is for you to find something and share it with the class so that everyone knows to avoid it. Do a little digging to find a website. DO NOT GOOGLE, bad websites or anything like that. Do some digging.

From instructions: DO NOT share/analyze WIKIPEDIA or THE ONION. DO NOT share/analyze any SOCIAL MEDIA such as FACEBOOK, etc. Social media is a vehicle for public posting. We are looking for websites that purport to be experts on something, but after doing an analysis, you discover they are not credible. This is what I want you to go for.
