Compare or Contrast

You will be writing an informative piece for a class, organization, company, or community of adults directly involved in and/or affected by your subject.  While a bit of background on the topic in your introductory paragraph may help increase awareness about your topic, do not make this paper into a history of the issue.

Topic Options:

Compare or contrast the styles of two artists, musicians, inventors, politicians, or another category of artistic or technical area to show an important distinction in it.

Compare or contrast an invention or technology in the past with its contemporary counterpart to show an important technological or technical distinction.

Compare or contrast a specific cultural phenomenon (marriage, college, elections, or some other phenomenon) in your home country or region with it as practiced in the U.S. or a region of it to show an important cultural distinction.
