There are two questions. 
Question #1 requires 2 pages.

1.     Briefly discuss the history and evolution of policing, making sure to include recent developments with regard to community policing and compstat/crime control and analysis.  What lessons do you draw from this history, or phrased another way, what are the implications of this history for contemporary policing?  How would you approach police reform?  Identify two or three critical changes you would make to reform contemporary policing.

Question #2 Requires at least 1 page.

2.     Identify and briefly discuss three critical legal or judicial issues.  What changes would you make to facilitate legal/judicial reform?    Make sure to cite/reference the relevant literature on the issue you decided to explore in-depth.
